Estate Planning Services
Probate and Estate Administration
Dealing with the death of a loved one can be a very difficult time. We offer a range of services to assist you from obtaining a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration to carrying out the administration of an estate.
Wills, Inheritance Tax and Future Planning
A Will is one of the most important documents you should put in place to ensure your estate passes in accordance with your wishes and not in accordance with the Intestacy Rules, as set out in statute. Having a Will and planning for your future will make life a lot easier for those you leave behind.
Powers of Attorney
Court of Protection
We can assist in making applications to the Court of Protection for various matters from the appointment of a Deputy to making a Statutory Will for someone who has lost capacity.
Trusts can be a useful way of preserving your hard earned assets for future generations or to protect assets from means tested benefits. We can advise on the options available and prepare the appropriate trust documentation for you.
Contentious Probate Disputes
Legal disputes regarding Wills and inheritance has been increasing year on year, due in part to many complex family structures, individual's awareness of their legal rights and a greater wealth accumulation in later life.

Pre-nuptials and Cohabitation Agreements
Whilst it might not be very romantic, unfortunately sometimes the best plans don’t work out and relationships fail. Setting out before the wedding or the cohabitation, what will happen in that event is becoming more normal and means everyone knows where they stand.
We can advise you on how the process works and deal with paperwork for you or simply assist you to deal with matters yourself. Within this we can advise on how the financial matters should be considered and help you to either come to an agreement or assist you through the process to obtain an order from the Court dividing the assets and liabilities.
Unfortunately, children often find themselves in the middle of the parent issues and they need to be considered throughout. We can assist with arrangements for the children, looking at what would be in the best interests of the children and ensuring they maintain a relationship with both parents despite the problems between those parents.

We understand that seeing a solicitor can be daunting, especially when discussing matters such as divorce, Wills, the death of a loved one or succession planning for your business. Who we are
Hello, my name is Pasha and I am the office dog. I look after everyone and keep them company when they are in the office. I am very lucky as I get lots of attention and I’m taken for nice walks at lunchtime too. I like nothing more than chasing a ball or fetching a stick but my absolute favourite thing is swimming! When I am not in the office, I live with Kate, her husband and Tess.
Hello, my name is Tess and I became a member of Kate’s family just before Christmas 2017 and I now come to work with her and Pasha. I absolutely love the walks we go on at Stoneleigh Park and I also really enjoy a swim in the pond (when Kate lets me!). I get lots of cuddles and treats in the office and, together with Pasha, we look after everyone.
